Bayfair is a shopping centre that puts sustainability centre stage. So with the centre undertaking a major extension it was a natural fit to install an Apricus solar hot water system to reduce their energy consumption.
The system has three Apricus 30 tube collectors and a 500L solar dedicated preheat cylinder. An innovative ring main diversion feature is included so that most of the heat loss through the ring main is covered by the sun instead of wasting electricity.
